Over the years this site received a number of awards from craft directories, web rings and other needlework sites – the kind of recognition that circulated between hobbyist sites when the craft web was mostly personal pages linking to one another.
Most of those directories and award programmes no longer exist, and the badges they issued point at addresses that went dark long ago.
They are worth a mention anyway. That network of small, personally maintained craft sites is how most people found free patterns before search engines and pattern databases took over, and the awards were how those sites vouched for each other.
The patterns those awards were given for are all still here, and still free.
