Phentex Slipper & Craft yarn.

Here is the free pattern.
MATERIALS: 2 balls of 3 ply Phentex Yarn
of different colors. Knitting needles: 5 mm (American size No. 8)
ABBREVIATIONS:
col. - color
cont. - continue
dec. - decrease
ea. - each
ev. - every
k - knit
ndls - needles
p - purl
rem. - remaining
rep. - repeat
rnd(s) - round(s)
sl - slip
st(s) - stitch(es)
tog. - together
tot. - total
Cast on 66 sts with light color. K first 6 sts in light color, then 6 sts in dark. Alternate the colors every 6th st.
All rows are knitways, being careful to twist the light color over the dark one.
Knit until desired length is reached.
For example 20 rows for children, 29 rows for ladies and 32 for men. Cast off by knitting 2 together all the sts.
Cut Phentex long enough for sewing. With a needle pass it through remaining stitches.
Sew 1 stripe inside on both sides of the slippers to make extra gore. Sew heel and toe on wrong side. Reverse to right side and sew the instep.
Tie a Pompom on top.
