Finished hat measures 9" wide x 9" tall.
This pattern uses worsted weight yarn and a 6mm hook.
If using yarn other than what she used, compare your gauge with hers. She made one with Redheart Super Saver and said although she got almost the same results it was slightly smaller.
I also have found some skeins of the same brand of yarn can be slightly thicker or thinner than one you have used before.
